胡德华，中南大学生命科学学院副院长，教授、管理学博士、升华学者、博士生导师，约翰斯·霍普金斯大学访问学者。《生物信息学》国家级一流本科专业负责人，《信息检索》国家级一流本科课程负责人，《文献信息检索》国家精品课程主讲教师。

兼任中华医学会医学信息学分会委员、医学信息教育学组组长，健康医学大数据学会常务理事，卫生信息学教育专委会副主任委员，全国医学文献检索教学研究会副理事长，湖南省医学会医学信息学专业委员会副主任委员。

主持国家社会科学基金项目3项，教育部重点研发项目1项，湖南省重点研发项目1项；发表SCI、SSCI、CSSCI等学术论文200多篇，主编国家级规划教材、专著20多部，获湖南省科技进步奖二等奖1项，三等奖1项。

研究方向：医药信息管理、医学人工智能、生物医学大数据挖掘、健康信息学。
